Description

The Celtic story of old, "The Goose Girl" has been a favorite for hundreds of years. After reading the story I found it difficult to understand. This is my version of the several hundred year old fable. Now it is a very easy read for young folks who take our electronic world for granted. They too will be able to understand the message that the wise old story tellers of yesteryear were conveying.

A solid story with good structure and pace. The dialog feels a bit forced at times. I found myself chuckling at some of the modern slang, but it lacked consistency. Also the characters are multi-generational, and different generations should use their own vernacular. The extensive use of modern gadgetry was a clever twist. But over all, it feels like an earlier draft of a better work. It could use some polishing.
