Third book in The Anointed series.

Henry and Jake go after a vengeful spirit of a serial child killer. They've left Cael behind because they don't want him anywhere near a spirit that goes after children, but apparently nineteen is young enough and the spirit takes Jake.

Cael's gut instincts tell him something is off about this hunt that their research hasn't uncovered. More

About Clover Autrey

Clover Autrey's books have been referred to as "Romance in the Safety Zone." She calls it Edgy Sweet. The pages are chock full of adventure, attraction, fantasy and love, safe enough to read with your daughter or your grandmother, yet not so sweet it will put you in a sugar coma.

Inspired by her love of Louis L'Amour historical romantic heroes, Clover (yeah, that's her real name), packed up and moved to Texas where she found a real live Texan of her own. She's been there ever since where she and Pat (who else would a Clover marry but a Patrick?) listen to the coyotes howl at the trains each evening.

Clover has had a love of stories and romance reading for as long as she can remember, especially inventing her own. She writes the kind of stories she loves to read, high fantasy and time travels with Scottish Highlanders or magical mermen, ghosts, and shapeshifters with powerful elements of romance, where the hero and heroine must each make sacrifices to gain something even stronger.

Review by: Reannon Harn on March 11, 2012 :
I really settled into the plot of this story - which was so interesting as just a stand alone tale , and then I was swept away as the series storyline hit me full force. The characters are still the best - good, solid, moral characters. Can't wait for the next book...
