This was a very unique book in that it deal with death from the deceased's point of view. A young man is cut down in his prime and finds himself a ghost and dealing with many emotions, shock, grief, fear, anger, denial - essentially all the things the living experience when losing a loved one.
The author, Robert J. McCarter, writes in a very conversational voice that is easy to read. The book is often humorous, but then turns serious and sad. It really takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Well worth the read!
