Great book, thoroughly well researched. Essential reading for anyone who has raised cholesterol or is already taking statins. Every medical doctor should read the book. Convinces me that the whole cholesterol/animal fat hypothesis is a con to sell statins.

An essential read for anyone who is concerned with CHD or the conventional treatment of CHD using powerful Statin drugs. Prof. Tim Noakes suggested that medical physicians should read the book - I agree. Very informative for patients as well. Some of us wondered why our grand parents seemed to live long and healthy lives without regard for eating animal fat - this book explains why they were sensible and why the modern fad of being obsessed with low cholesterol is foolish and unfounded.

Great book well researched. I'm certainly convinced enough to refuse statin drugs and follow a large part of Anthony's suppliment regime in lieu.

Finally got around to reading this book after hearing about it for so long and it did not disappoint even though I read a lot of the stuff on Chris Masterjohn's Daily Lipid site and Stephan Guyenet's Wholehealthsource blog. These PhD's highly regard Colpo's book saying his conclusions from the references he cites actually support his findings instead of researchers who just use references to make it seem like they know what they are talking about. I have a long ways to check all the references in this book (over 1400)

There is so much hard to find information in this book, you'll be lucky to have found it.

I deduct .5 stars because I think the cholesterol part of the book is strongest while I think some chapters are weaker. Also while Colpo yells at others for not including absolute risk comparisons, he himself most often only includes relative risk figures except for his table summaries of studies that do include the absolute numbers.

Great book and a fascinating topic! Complex subject explained clearly in reasonably plain English. It is really scary to discover how we have all been conned just do that the drug companies can make a buck.

Huge amount of detailed research provides proof that we really are being conned.

Please read this book so that you can learn and so protect yourself and your family from this dangerous scam!

Congratulations to Anthony for producing such a detailed and well researched book!
