About Maureen Reil

Maureen Reil was born in Liverpool, England but lives in Lancashire in the North West of Great Britain. She became an author by accident, when she never really thought her work would be read and appreciated by readers if she put it out there but her passion for writing funny stories and deep-seated need to share the laughter in order to put a smile on someone’s face has turned her happy hobby into a bit of a business. Her books are, written in a 'chatty' conversational style as if your best friend is telling you about something hilarious that had happened to her. Whilst Maureen is grateful to those who have supported and enjoyed the crazy characters and comical circumstances they get themselves into and out of, usually at their own expense. It has been a great publishing journey so far for the comedy romance writer and long may it continue as Maureen Reil is currently working on another project and hopes to bring it to her readers soon, so watch this space for future releases since she is not done yet. Despite the best efforts of her health, her husband, three sons and a pet dog to disrupt her when she is sitting on her ever-expanding bottom all day staring at a screen and doing nothing more than using her vivid imagination to make stuff up which she calls a job, unbelievable, according to some.
