I'm a pragmatic dreamer, a poet, a philosopher, and a construction worker. I enjoy fine art, literature, and classical music as well as Monty Python, dime novels, and hard rock. I prefer cheap beer to fine wine and a good play to professional sports. My interests include theoretical physics, classical history, technology, science fiction, psychology, philosophy, mythology, and the paranormal. I tend to be shy, but I love people. So look me up on your favorite social network, leave a comment on my blog, or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.

This was a whimsical little story, more soft porn than Steampunk in my opinion. My sense of Physics can enjoy speculations on airship technology, but steam powered space travel is even more challenging to suspension of disbelief than the captain wearing a corset. Anyone who has helped a woman into one of these monstrosities of torture will know how restricting they are to movement.
Still, the gender role reversal idea was interesting and well depicted up to the shift into erotic fantasies and the writing style was engaging. Perhaps if the author were writing for an audience looking for female domination it would merit 5 stars. As it is, I'll continue my quest to find good Steampunk novels and consign this one to the file marked Amusing Stories I've Read.
