Extended description

“Marking Time” continues the story begun in “Treading Water” as Clare Harrington begins a new life. She’s considered a miracle, but everything that’s happened since she recovered from a three-year coma has been something less than miraculous. Now left to grapple with the aftermath of a selfless decision, she is home from the hospital and trying to figure out what the next chapter in her miraculous recovery has in store for her. Meanwhile, her eighteen-year-old daughter Kate, a talented singer and songwriter, sets out to pursue her musical dreams in Nashville. Her parents have agreed to allow Kate to spend a year there, but they couldn't have anticipated Kate falling in love with a much older man. Her newly divorced parents are forced back together to confront their wayward daughter. Spanning from Newport, Rhode Island, to Nashville, Tennessee, to Stowe, Vermont, "Marking Time" is the story of new beginnings and new loves.

Let me start by saying you need to read Treading Water first as this is the 2nd book in the series.

This was another wonderful book by Marie Force. All of her books are fantastic but this one seemed to go above and beyond all of the other books.

After Clare woke from coma she found her life had changed in more ways than she was able to handle. She decides to take matters into her own hands and change things up in her life to try and make a new life for herself. Kate (Clares daughter) is in TN trying to become a famous singer and she takes you on a roller coaster of emotion of her growing up, a love life and trying to follow her dream.

This books isn't just one book, but chapters into the lives of so many of them. You will find yourself crying one minute just aching for them and then you find yourself just falling in love with them and pulling for the life you hope they will have.

Once you start this book, don't have any plans as you wont be able to put it down!

If you haven't yet disovered Marie Force and her wonderful books, you don't know what you are missing.
