Something about the description caught my attentions so I did a leap of faith and bought your book. It was most definitely worth the leap. I noticed on his webpage he is (or was) in the process of writing a second and third book to complete a trilogy; I hope he continues writing. There are some sad twists but the ending is well worth it.
