A great read, completely entertaining from start to finish. The perfect mix of humor, suspense and intrigue all glued together by the author with the reluctant hero, an ex-detective who is a magnet for trouble and extraordinarily hot damsels that need saving as he does from them more often than not.
A great read as is the entire Ben Hood series.

I've read Lost Lady, Coral Sea Affair and now, Black Mountain Affair in the last three days. Reacher has nothing on Ben Hood and Lee Child has nothing on Drew Lindsay. Atmosphere and characters are great. I'm buying the rest of the series before B&N or Amazon sucks the author up and they all cost $15.00+

Black Mountain Affair deserves to be paper published. It would need some clean up in its editing; there are misspelled and misused words etc. Minor things independently published authors struggle with. The storyline is great and characters are interesting and well defined. The good characters are very good and the bad guys are pure evil. Is it perfect? No. Is it an exceptionally good read? Yes. If you crave a good murder mystery this is it.

A thrilling book from start to finish, featuring likeable characters from this author’s previous book, Coral Sea Affair (which is also an excellent read!!!).

Black Mountain Affair is about a serial killer who is systematically killing people in the Cooktown area of Far North Queensland & hiding their remains deep in Black Mountain. The story follows the dedicated detectives & an ex detective Ben Hood, who is supposed to be protecting a socialite, on their journey to find the killer.

The story takes lots of twists & turns & keeps you in suspense right up until the last chapter. It also touches on Aboriginal mythology which adds an interesting element to the book.

An exciting , “edge of your seat” thriller!!!
