About Laura R Cole

Laura is a native Vermonter whose love of reading developed into a love of writing. She currently has eight books available: The BloodRunes Trilogy, The Forgotten Trilogy, and The Empire Trilogy (in progress). These books follow the main character, Layna, and her friends through many adventures, and are all part of Laura’s Eleventh World Saga. This saga then extends further into the future, jumping forward to Princess Phoenix's 18th birthday party where the discovery of a vessel from a foreign land turns everyone's world upside-down. Eventually, this saga will also delve into the past to explore the tumultuous time of the Dark King’s reign and the golden age of the very beginning. Enjoy!

Review by: Thomas Arthur on Dec. 11, 2011 :
Laura R Cole's BloodRunes-Book 2 continues with the introduction of several new characters, and further develops characters from the first book. Several things that we thought we knew from the first book are discovered to actually have resolved differently behind the scenes, leading to a new dimension (and interest) into the relationships among the main characters. The danger to Layna continues to grow, leading to a journey which ends this books with some puzzles to ponder... and sets the stage (and strongly drew my interest) for book 3.
