Kidnapped by creatures out of folklore, Alex and Victoria find themselves stolen to a land beyond imagination and under the power of creatures both deadly and beautiful. I loved Bloodraven and Dynasty Of Ghosts and was about to put P.L.Nunn into my tiny "just buy everything the author writes" box, till I read this book.

The building of the plot and the imaginative world is truly impressive but I found the characters relationship not deepened enough. In my view this book, on the contrary to the others ones I read from the same author, is missing a true romance, with the delicate tensions and inner struggles in the building of a relationship that P.L.Nunn write so well.
