About Kevin Fontaine

Kevin, a Massashusetts native, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Health, Behhavior, and Society at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

He is the author of two books and over 90 scientific papers and book chapters. He recently completed an M.A. in nonfiction (science) writing at the Johns Hopkins Writing Program. For one of his assignments, he wrote a profile of Ed Norris. As he learned more and more about Ed's story, he realized that he needed to share it with others. "The Anti-Terrorist" is really just a thumbnail sketch of Ed's rise and fall and rise again.

Look for a book-length biography/memoir of Ed Norris sometime soon.

Kevin adores his wife, 18-year old son, and their four cats and dog.

Review by: Peter Rowe on Dec. 17, 2011 :
This is a fantastic piece about a public figure whose rapid fall from prominence, at least as reported in the papers, never seemed to make sense. Thanks for putting together such a compelling story. Looking forward to reading the longer memoir.
