About Erin Miller

Erin is the oldest in a family of six and the only girl. She was born prematurely and almost died due to respiratory distress syndrome and a heart murmur. Her father had a Catholic Priest baptize her and read her the last rites after doctors said she wouldn't make it through the night. She lived against all odds.
Growing up was not easy for her either! People expected her to be 16, pregnant, and a high school drop out. In fact, she was a special education student with testing modifications and people thought she would never make anything of herself. She has certainly proved them wrong!
Her art style is best explained as raw and addicting. People can't seem to get enough of her work and ask for numerous commissions. Art is Erin's life and passion! It is the one thing that she agrees brings communities together.
Today, Erin is a freelance artist/graphic designer. She has also become a published author, gallery teacher, and a performance poet.

In "For The Love Of A Family," Erin Miller draws the reader right in with instant action and continues to keep it action packed, so as to hold the readers attention and interest. I have read other literary works by this author as well and she is definitely an incredibly talented writer, who definitely knows how to capture her audience and hold them throughout her work. She should definitely keep writing for years to come. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who loves romantic and action packed literature. The characters are definitely relatable, which is always a bonus in literature. The majority of people like when characters are easy to relate to. This piece of literature also has definitive protagonists and antagonists, which is also a key component in the making of an excellent story. Erin Miller also brings forth the truths as well as the stereotypes about lesbians better than any author I have read literature by thus far. I definitely can't wait to read more of Erin Miller's literary works.

I found this book really interesting. It breaks the stereotypes that lesbians face. I hope Miller does more with these characters.

I have already fallen in love with Honey Elizabeth and her wife Jackie via the series of which they are the stars. This short story is a prelude to a true treasure, and I hope Erin Miller continues to write and develop these characters for years to come. Everyone should definitely stay tuned!
