This is a short story of a dating relationship that fell apart and what happens afterwards. The author uses description well, painting vivid imagery of what is happening, even interjecting a bit of humor into a story that is otherwise humorless. At times, I was a bit uncomfortable with the narrator's behavior; the story is written in the first-person of Roger, the man in the ill-fated relationship. However, I also found myself sympathizing with Roger and his perspective.
