Gene is an Ex-fighter-pilot and has switched to scriptwriting for the new media, called Television. But there is only little money to be made in New York, writing cop-stories. One day Gene is fed up and decides to go West, to Hollywood. A nightly visitor changes his life and the fate of the planet.

He switched to scriptwriting for the new media, called Television, which is in dire need for fresh material, especially crime-shows. But there is only little money to be made in New York, writing cop-stories. One day Gene is fed up and decides to go West, to Hollywood.
He lands in the middle of the weird studio-life and has a hard time to find his place in the system. One night he has a surprising visitor. The mysterious woman out on nowhere is dressed in futuristic pajamas and has strangely pointed ears. She desperately tries to convince him of writing a new TV-show, some kind of pioneer story in space, a trek between the stars…
