While out shopping to indulge her secret vice, she meets a charismatic older man who gradually and skilfully seduces her.

During a steamy encounter in the store's changing room, he brings out her submissive side, and Melody learns to see herself through his eyes.

This, the first volume in the Melody series, is an erotic short story of approx. 8,000 words.

EXCERPT

Slowly, Melody turned around, certain she could feel the heat of his gaze on her skin.
“Do you like it?”
“I’m not sure about this one. Put on the next set for me.”
Melody’s heart pounded as she considered the set of lingerie which was now at the top of the pile – a tiny, very sheer bra and thong set which would hide absolutely nothing.
It had seemed like a good choice when they were roaming the store earlier. Now, the idea of modeling it for him was both thrilling and daunting, although far less daunting than the thought of refusing him.
“O…OK.”
Was that the ghost of a smile on his lips as he turned away, this time?
All too quickly, Melody was dressed – if that word could really be applied to a few small triangles of transparent material held together by thin strings.
Melody caught sight of herself in the mirror. As she had feared, the lingerie hid nothing at all. Her traitorously-erect nipples were very visible through the sheer material of the bra, as were the small triangle of hair between her legs, and even the dark cleft of her nether lips.
She looked over her shoulder to check the view from behind. If anything, it was even worse. The thin string of the thong panties disappeared completely between the cheeks of her ass, leaving her totally exposed.
Melody was mortified, her cheeks burning with humiliation.
As soon as she told him to turn around and look, she would be utterly exposed before this strange man. If anything, wearing this lingerie was even worse than if she were totally naked. The bra and panties simply drew attention to her most intimate parts, as they were designed to do, she admitted to herself, while hiding nothing.
She knew she should just call the whole thing off. Get dressed again in her sensible jeans and sweatshirt, and just leave. And yet, she knew she wasn’t going to do that.
Something inside of her was responding to this situation – to displaying herself for this stranger, and obeying his commands. Each time he told her to do something in that peremptory tone, an electric thrill coursed through her body, and dressing up (or down) to display herself for him made her feel sexy and proud – especially the gleam she saw in his eyes whenever he looked at her that way.
Still, she trembled with that same combination of fear, excitement and anticipation as she said, making a conscious effort not to cover herself with her arms, “I’m ready.”

Well written characters, hot kinky sex and a great set up for more. I've got to read the rest of the Melody series. She's the fantasy of every geeky guy-we're just sure that beneath that quiet facade is a freak waiting to be set free.

I really enjoy this story. The way the mysterious stranger helps Melody to bring out her inner 'slut' is truly beautiful.

It's smutty in the best possible way. Proof that when this brand of erotic play is done between consenting adults,and for the pleasure of all concerned, it can be a life afirming and positive thing.

Hot stuff, and there is a bit of depth to it. The story is fairly short, and it gets to the point - the point being a tasty sex scene - fairly quickly, but there is also a pretty interesting set of character dynamics. You get to see a timid young woman reaching a point where she wonders if she can take the next step.
It's an interesting look at BDSM through the eyes of someone entering that world for the first time. Her reactions feel authentic. She's scared, uncertain, turned on, and a bit shocked at herself as she realizes what she's doing.
It works well as a stand-alone story, but I like the fact that Melody and her new lover have several more adventures ahead of them.

A very steamy and sexy read, with characters that are engaging and fully realized. If you have ever wondered about dom/sub relationship dynamics, or the BDSM lifestyle, this would be a good introduction. Even if you are on the fence, the hot sex and fascinating characters will keep you turning the pages.
