A survivor of sexual abuse, I have recently published the true account of my childhood, titled: Life After Hell: Surviving Sexual Abuse. I have tried to convey what happened to me as well as my journey to finally getting justice. A lot of my own experiences have gone into my fictional works, especially my first book The Man of My Dreams. I created a vigilante vampire that rescues women and children from rapists and child molesters......
I've loved Vampires and the paranormal ever since I can remember and always envisaged myself writing a book or two on the subject! I have written 5 books in The Dream Series so far: The Man of my Dreams, Be Careful What You Wish For and The Chosen One, Succubus: An Erotic Companion and A Match Made in Hell. All Paranormal Romance novels with Vampires(of course) as well as a bit of blood and gore thrown in and the 4th one is slightly on the erotic side! These characters are very close to my heart and I hope you will come to love them as much as I have.
I recently finished a Contemporary Romance novella triology (Someone To Love Me series) and a New Adult novel, Entwined.
I also published a short story (Why Won't Someone Help Me?) about my health issues and the trouble with getting diagnosed or treated for invisible illnesses.

Be Careful What You Wish For by Gladys Quintal
Cassie and Alexi have managed to bring a little normalcy to their sons life. Alexi is pretending to be a human with a sun allergy making it possible for him to permanently work the night shift at the local hospital, while Cassie is Mum to AJ. The rules have been broken since Cassie knows Alexi is a vampire but he has failed to kill or change her, this makes certain people not very happy and puts all of them in danger.
I had been a little reluctant to read and review this book because I had received some negative feed back over my review of the first in the series ‘Man of my Dreams’ and worried that if this title had the same editing issues I was going to be in for more stick! Luckily GQ had realised her work could be significantly improved with the help of an editor and has decided to go down that route, so hopefully my comments this time around will be considered less harsh!
This book started at the beginning and gave us all the background information we needed to understand where the vampires came from and why they could only appear in dreams. I was glad of this explanation because I had found it a little difficult to get my head around in the last book and can’t help but wonder if it would have been better to include this as a prologue in ‘Man of my dreams’ instead (or as well) just to help the reader.
I have to say when I compare the writing between both books in the series they are completely different. In B2 the spelling and punctuation mistakes are few and far between and the whole structure of the sentences makes the writing flow much better. As far a plot is concerned there are similarities to other Vampire stories I have read so I don’t find it all that unique. For example the V rules that state once a human knows the secret they must be turned or killed (a little ‘twilighty’) the fact that the good vampire only killed criminals (also like Edward had done in twilight before he turned ‘vegetarian’) I hate to harp on about one book reminding me of another but I can’t help myself, I am searching for a unique read and want something fresh to hold my interest, I haven’t found that here.
Be careful what you wish for is and enjoyable quick read, the cliff hanger ending shows there are more books to follow and I would like to finish up the series to it’s conclusion as I am beginning to know the characters well now.

First of what a way to end a book! Second I can't wait to read more. Third if you haven't read any of these books I highly recommend them. Now I will be waiting for the next book to come out not so patiently. ;D
We're introduced to some new character in the book. Sebastian starts out as a nice character who I liked until he started drinking blood from someone and watching another someones baby at night. Super creepiness. We get to see Alexi's family and his reactions, YaY!
I liked how the end fight was set up and the twistedness of the fght. I can't believe how I was sucked into this book and again the ending was WOW! Big cliff hanger.

i loved this second installment to Glady's first book the man of my dreams, this book had me hooked from the very first page,i found myself just as i did with the first book sitting rivetted to my pc reading and needing to continue reading to find out what happens next!!! It was an enthralling read and i strongly recommend it to those who enjoy a romance novel with a dark twist and characters you simply fall in love with or find yourself wishing revenge upon them as the characters in the book do....highly recommended read!!!
