on Feb. 11, 2012 :
A mysterious lady, who has herself fallen on hard times, assists others deemed not worthy of vouchers to Almack's in finding love and happiness. She then finds happiness of her own. Each story is short but doesn't build very much on every character's background, so not as good as it has the potential to be.

I found the book to be quite exhilarating. The ideas for the stories kept me engaged throughout and wanting more.
I particularly like the 1st and last three stories for they brought out all levels of emotions, especially with the last story on board the ship. I could literally see the lord and his desire for a bride, once being turned down before and then to end up with the woman of his dreams.
I liked the way each individual carried their own story.
Quite touching and very passionate. Full of the mysteries of the period
