Short description

This is a collection of vignettes about hospitals, doctors, and patients. The situations described are completely fictional but they depict the kinds of dramatic, life and death events, that can occur even in the best of hospitals.

Extended description

Poetry about hospital, doctors, patients? Why not?

The author's more than 25 years in hospital management form the backdrop for this work. The events described in some of these pieces may be hard for the reader to believe. This is an extraordinary short book that captures the essence of a hospital in a thoughtful, indeed brilliant, way. It should be required reading for every student in any of the health professions particularly health care and hospital administration.
