This collection of poems born and raised in the twentieth century with its heedless chopping of trees is resurrected into the paperless twenty-first century.
The original print edition emerged from the excitement and creative energy of the 1960’s and 1970’s. This edition evolves from the global belief that a new world is possible, based on respect for Mother Earth and making our planet sustainable. It is not an easy struggle but one we cannot back away from.
We need great courage, steadfastness and imagination to find new ways to live in harmony with each other as part of the environment not as an exploiter or subjugator. Poetry can help open that space. I hope these poems through their simple sharing of ideas and feelings can help.
