Mine Eyes is the 8th story in the book, Struck By Lightning and other bolts of reality. It is a short story about a woman who recklessly searches for love, and men who take the opportunity to satisfy their desires at her expense.

Mine Eyes is the 8th story in the book, Struck By Lightning and other bolts of reality. It is a short story about a woman who recklessly searches for love, and men who take the opportunity to satisfy their desires at her expense. Tragically, low self-esteem rears it's ugly head as denial, which is the mechanism by which the blinders could be set for the woman allows herself to be abused.
