Beautiful, intelligent and well born, Alexandra faces two unhappy handicaps; she is penniless and has a stunningly fiery temper. As a last resort, she accepts a post as governess to the young son of an equally hot blooded widower. The situation is not ideal. The household does not include a chaparone and the two previous ladies in her position quite suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.

I enjoyed the story but was disappointed with the loose ends. The previous governesses disappeared and all clues say they were killed, don't know why or who. Was a second book intended to clear up these issues?

I really enjoyed this book but want to know what happened to the first two governesses - it was never explained!

A really fun book and I loved it although it left me wondering about a couple of loose ends. I look forward to more from this author.

Wow! I don't read much romance, but I couldn't put this down. Great characters, detailed believably, great fun!

This book has EVERYTHING that I look for in a romance novel. The author has the ability to bring you right into the story. This book made an otherwise boring weekend into a romantic adventure.

A delightful romance with wit, charm, and some intrigue. I lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon. I wish more of the romance books were this well written

A good traditional Regency. Both the hero and heroine have tempers and neither wants to compromise, so the arguments that occur between them do get a bit tiresome.
