I read the first book of the series, An Affair to Remember, and was pulled in. Believe it or not, over the last year the characters have flitted through my mind and I wondered what would happen to them. Reconnecting with Monica and Chase and all the rest of them felt like I'd come home. Ms. Budden has a wonderful ability to make characters so believable you do care what happens to them. This is a wonderful story and I, like the other reviewers, am definitely looking forward to the next book. A well-deserved five stars to an outstanding book.
