Wonderful story, full of emotion. The writer presents the BDSM world in such an honest way that the reader can experience it from the inside instead of looking through some barrier of streaked glass into a dim lit room.

My review from Goodreads below:
The long awaited (by me) story about Adam and Karla. I liked it more than Nobody’s Angel but not as much as I liked the first book Masters at Arms. I think it was all the repetition again that detracted me from enjoying this book fully. It kept repeating the same information a bunch of times. The first chapter was a retelling of the last books, I get the ‘catch up’ but there was no need to repeat it throughout the story…just my opinion.
Lots of growing up and ‘do I or don’t Is’ in this story. There was a bit of mystic in this book too which kind of threw me off but sometimes we on the earth plane need a little help from above.
Basically what Adam needed to learn was to let go of the past and embrace a second chance at love. God knows we don’t get many of those. He needed to let go of his past and his feelings of failure/anger when his wife died. Adam also needed to get over the age difference between him and Karla especially since an older man/much younger woman is not as taboo in our society as it is the other way around. I applaud him for his hesitancy though, since it is not a relationship that should be gotten into lightly. I didn’t think of him as a perv either since his feeling for Karla didn’t develop until he saw her for the first time when she was an adult of 25. There was also his childhood angst which was revealed in this story that he needed closure on. That closure part was a bit rushed thought.
Karla needed to be true to herself and not change her world to accommodate anyone, especially Adam. Sure change is good to a degree, but not when you loose yourself. Who wants someone without a thought or opinion in their head certainly not Adam. Even in a Master/slave relationship you should still be true to yourself right!
Lots of steamy sex in this story and some interesting ‘tie-me-ups’.

Don't forget to read the books in order - it's important if you want to follow the story better. And if you want to reread it later, download the newest version again - @ Smashwords just dl the book on top.
Added to favorites @ Goodreads - 'nough said :)
Loved Karla's and Adam's story. Kallypso knows how to tell a story. Looking forward to Savannah's and Damián's story now.
Read later than bought - that's why the review is late.

This series has me hooked. Nobody's Hero was an emotional rollercoaster! I am loving the way the characters lives are so intertwined and how the connections continue to grow. I cannot wait for the next book. I feel like Karla..."ka-thunk!"

Read the first two books in this series, and couldn't wait for this one to come out. After reading the first book Master Adam's story was the one I most looked forward to. I wasn't disappointed either with the story as a whole. I'm really looking forward to reading the story again, and would suggest it as a great read to my friends/family.
