About Kallypso Masters

USA Today bestselling author Kallypso Masters writes emotional, realistic Romance novels with dominant men and the women who bring them to their knees. She also has brought many readers to their knees--having them experience the stories right along with her characters in the Rescue Me saga. Kally knows that Happily Ever After takes maintenance, so her couples don't solve all their problems and disappear at "the end" of their Romance, but will continue to work on real problems in their relationships in later books. Kally also loves showing how there is never anyone so wounded that he or she can't find true love with that person who is perfect for them. Readers often write to tell her how the books have changed their lives or their perceptions of what matters in life.

Kally has been writing full-time since May 2011, having quit her "day job" the month before to pursue a full-time writing career (her long-time dream). Masters at Arms was her debut novel (published in August 2011), followed by Nobody's Angel, Nobody's Hero; and Nobody's Perfect.

Kally lives in rural Kentucky and has been married for 30 years to the man who provided her own Happily Ever After. They have two adult children, one adorable grandson, and a rescued dog and cat.

Kally enjoys meeting readers at national romance-novel conventions, book signings, and informal gatherings (restaurants, airports, bookstores, wherever!), as well as in online groups (including Facebook's "The Rescue Me Series Open Discussion" secret group--to join, send a friend request to "Karla Montague" on Facebook; Kally also visits the Fetlife "Rescue Me! Series Discussion Group" regularly). Watch for her live online chats, as well. She hopes to meet you in her future travels! If you meet her face to face, be sure to ask for her new Kally's friend button (an awesome incentive ONLY for people she has met face-to-face; sorry, but no exceptions. She'll keep making more buttons as long as she keeps meeting new people)!

The Rescue Me saga should be read in. The reading order to date:

MASTERS AT ARMS (Vol. 0.5), which is FREE

MASTERS AT ARMS & NOBODY'S ANGEL (Vol. 1--updated March 2014 with BONUS material)

NOBODY'S HERO (Vol. 2)

NOBODY'S PERFECT (Vol. 3)

SOMEBODY'S ANGEL (Vol. 4)

Up next: Luke & Cassie's romance, NOBODY'S DREAM.

Wonderful story, full of emotion. The writer presents the BDSM world in such an honest way that the reader can experience it from the inside instead of looking through some barrier of streaked glass into a dim lit room.

My review from Goodreads below:

The long awaited (by me) story about Adam and Karla. I liked it more than Nobody’s Angel but not as much as I liked the first book Masters at Arms. I think it was all the repetition again that detracted me from enjoying this book fully. It kept repeating the same information a bunch of times. The first chapter was a retelling of the last books, I get the ‘catch up’ but there was no need to repeat it throughout the story…just my opinion.

Lots of growing up and ‘do I or don’t Is’ in this story. There was a bit of mystic in this book too which kind of threw me off but sometimes we on the earth plane need a little help from above.

Basically what Adam needed to learn was to let go of the past and embrace a second chance at love. God knows we don’t get many of those. He needed to let go of his past and his feelings of failure/anger when his wife died. Adam also needed to get over the age difference between him and Karla especially since an older man/much younger woman is not as taboo in our society as it is the other way around. I applaud him for his hesitancy though, since it is not a relationship that should be gotten into lightly. I didn’t think of him as a perv either since his feeling for Karla didn’t develop until he saw her for the first time when she was an adult of 25. There was also his childhood angst which was revealed in this story that he needed closure on. That closure part was a bit rushed thought.

Karla needed to be true to herself and not change her world to accommodate anyone, especially Adam. Sure change is good to a degree, but not when you loose yourself. Who wants someone without a thought or opinion in their head certainly not Adam. Even in a Master/slave relationship you should still be true to yourself right!

Lots of steamy sex in this story and some interesting ‘tie-me-ups’.

Don't forget to read the books in order - it's important if you want to follow the story better. And if you want to reread it later, download the newest version again - @ Smashwords just dl the book on top.

Added to favorites @ Goodreads - 'nough said :)
Loved Karla's and Adam's story. Kallypso knows how to tell a story. Looking forward to Savannah's and Damián's story now.
Read later than bought - that's why the review is late.

Read the first two books in this series, and couldn't wait for this one to come out. After reading the first book Master Adam's story was the one I most looked forward to. I wasn't disappointed either with the story as a whole. I'm really looking forward to reading the story again, and would suggest it as a great read to my friends/family.

Really great addition to the series. I seriously cannot wait for the next one! Adam and Karla were good together (finally), and I think Damian and Savi are going to be even better.
