One of my favorite genres of movie develops characters and then, through creative storytelling, weaves the lives of the characters together to enhance the story that culminates in a final payoff. The author does a great job introducing an intriguing mystery and then does an even better job developing the various characters to make for a gripping story - right up to the final reveal. I would highly recommend this book.

Easy read - the author does a good job of explaining and incorporating the technicalities of poker into the character development and story line. I would recommend this book.

A cocktail of great characters, fantastic detail, poker savvy, and murder intrigue. Just enough subterfuge and not too much to frustrate. An easy read, and very enjoyable.
