Grey Engines is set on earth after an alien invasion wipes out most of mankind but the ones that are left are all telepathic. Now the aliens are returning, will humans be able to fight them off this time?
It’s a very interest scenario, we think being telepathic would be fun but what if everyone could hear everybodys thoughts.
The first few chapters were a little slow, I wasn’t sure where he was going with the story but it definitely sets up the whole story line. After that it was a fast enthralling read. I couldn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed the concept of this book. It was something new and refreshing instead the vampire, werewolf and demons. Gareth went outside the box and came up with something new and exciting to read.
I do wish he’d explained the ACTORS a little better at the first some of their dialogs were a little hard to follow.
The only thing I didn’t care for was Thomas’s accent. I didn’t see the need for it and it was a little hard to read. That's a small thing though in a great book.
I’d recommend this book to anyone who likes a good sci-fi.
Altogether I’d give this a big 5 stars.
