Finding Your Heart I, A Contemporary Romance Happily Ever After

This is the result of a conversation I had with author Patric Michael who said I should take a story and make a het and a gay version. The idea is that the story isn’t about gender but emotion. The 2 books aren't exactly the same. However, the reason they are mostly the same is because love is love. Gender doesn’t matter when your life is miserable and your only shot at love has been lost. Finding Your Heart I is a book I ended up not finishing. After realizing it was simply Vol. II retold with Him becoming Her, and such pronoun changes, it wasn't worth reading again. Therefore, Finding Your Heart I receives a Did Not Finish (DNF) from me. Too bad, one or the other of the books alone would have been good. The author did a great disservice to herself and her readers by pulling this trick. Bad move.
