Kudos to Wayne Zurl for another page-turner. If you're ready for a weekend (short story) trip to TN, then you'll find yourself surrounded by Revolutionary reenactors, but one of them is 'room temperature'. Sam Jenkins, police chief, smoothly takes you through a classic investigation, except it's filled with good ole country folks, complete with actions and accents. Zurl uses great dialogue, pace, description, and wallops you with a surprise ending. I only have one beef...it's only a short story. So, read "Prospect" for a full week (novel). Nice work, Wayne.
