This is the second book I've read by Chuck Grossart, and I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the first one! His imagination is incredible. The twists and turns The Coming takes are surprising, but not so out there that you lose the suspension of disbelief, and that's a hard line for a lot of authors to find.

The story moves along at a fast pace, but with lots of little telling details to flesh out the characters, as though everything extraneous has been trimmed away to leave only the elements that are necessary. I'm looking forward to more from Mr. Grossart!
