Description

Over 5,000 years ago in Mesopotamia, something remarkable happened - the seeds of western civilisation were sown. In the city-state of Eridu, perhaps the earliest city of ancient Sumer, knowledge grew rapidly and became highly valued in its own right. Looking back in time, an intelligence beyond our understanding was determined to learn something of the profound discoveries that occurred there.

An engaging book with an interesting view on the dawn of civilisation and the beginning of learning. This is certainly destined to become a classic, David Herne will soon be up there with Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke and even Frederik Pohl. Don't be disheartened by the all the Vogon poetry on Smashwords, this is a true high-quality, pure Science Fiction story that will make you think.
