About Prudence MacLeod

I live on a small island just off a larger island off the coast of North America where I write romance, sci-fi, and fantasy/adventure for a wider audience.

What's my super power? I'm a storyteller, an entertainer. As you begin to read my words the stress of the day, nay, the stress of everyday, begins to magically fade away. Transported into another world, your worries and troubles are forgotten for a time as you share adventures with me and my friends. My art, my power is as old as humankind, for the magic of the storyteller has ever been with us and it will always be.

Okay, I'll confess, I've been busted. I was accused of once being a life coach and hiding some of those techniques in my books, disguised as adventure.
Guilty as charged. sigh.
I was also accused of lightly touching on a number of taboo subjects in my books, trying to shine a different light on things.
Guilty as charged again.
As a result of these transgressions, I have been labeled an underground writer.
Oh the shame of it all. (Hangs head and moves slowly towards penalty box.)

I am a spiritual seeker, dog trainer, official Reiki Master and Interior designer, who has turned her hand to writing. I am also an avid chess player, not a great one, but an avid one. I bake, I build, I knit, and I tell great stories.

I have roamed far and wide for over sixty years in this realm, and I have seen much; some I wish I had not, and a great deal that I would love to see again. Some days I feel like Bilbo Baggins, for I have been there and come back again.

No, I haven't written a book about my wanderings, at least not yet, but much I have experienced, observed, learned, surmised, or imagined, is woven into the tales I have written.

Folks, if you take the time to write a review for me, please leave me a way to contact you so I can thank you properly. If you prefer to remain anonymous, then let me thank you right now. Thanks!!

BUY THIS BOOK!!! No Really, buy it... right now. If you don't have Calan an Angela, buy them too! In a world of looking out for number one and technology enforced lonliness, Prudence MacLeod shows us that there is another, probably better, way. In Calan and Angela she has found teachers with a voice we want to hear. Buy the book, share it with a friend. Perhaps if we can all learn how to look out for one another, then the basic human needs that we set so much store in will be fully met by one another and we will be better off than if we fulfilled the needs within ourselves. I dare you to read one of Prudence's books and NOT crave more.

This story really got me thinking about life, the universe, and everything...

It shows both sides of human nature, and helps to give the reader a glimpse at which side of human nature they are on. I always finish Prudence MacLeod's books with a desire to be a better person, and this one really brought that feeling home. The world really needs more good people to stand up for those who cannot stand on their own, and Calan does a splendid job of showing us how.

I'm excited to see what's next!

Thank you very much for the wonderful story!

Another sleep-robbing book! I loved the way this story evolved, with each relationship growing stronger and more intimate. I can't wait for book 4 to come out!
