About Jay Bell

Jay Bell never gave much thought to Germany until he met a handsome foreign exchange student. At that moment, beer and pretzels became the most important thing in the world. After moving to Germany and getting married, Jay found himself desperate to communicate the feelings of love and alienation that surrounded this decision. He's been mashing laptop keys ever since.

Jay is a Lambda Literary Award winner and a fairly bad dancer. He also thinks that you're really cool. Seriously.

Thisis an awesome book I can't help but to feel related to, a cherishable work of art that takes you to a world where, as the plot unfolds, can touch your heart in more than two ways, with Connor and David I've found a story full of surprises, the bravery they show is great; I've laughed out loud, cried, and sat on the edge of my seat, Jay Bell is an amazing author, and very kind as well, I recommend all his books,

Review by: Stephen Christopher on March 19, 2012 :
Jay Bell is one of the finest authors of modern gay fiction. Kamikaze Boys features his two best characters to date Connor and David.
This coming-of-age and coming-out story is set in a Kansas high school. Two loners are drawn together and realise they share the same thing, they are both gay. They embark on a relationship that causes a lot of grief for those around them. They need to overcome some major hurdles if they want to be together.
The book covers common issues like bullying, homophobia, and questionable parenting.
Despite it's teen setting this novel is able to be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
You'll find it page turning and will be very hard to put down once you've begun.
This is a must read for anyone who has ever been in love, or would like to be in love.
5/5 Mr Bell, can't wait for your next one.
