Vampire Virgin is the first story in the paranormal, urban fantasy series, Dark Veritas. This series features self-contained stories of a shared storyverse about an Earth of undead possibilities. Written by Joeseph Simon and edited by Teri Gibson.

Vampire Virgin video trailer
This is a video trailer that I created for my short paranormal urban fantasy story, Vampire Virgin (The first story in the Dark Veritas series about an Earth of undead possibility). It features music is Man-009, a project from Timothy (who is also in the bands Lestat, UV and Mercury Project.). It is a track taken from the forthcoming 2012 release "A horrible deformity of sound."

two thunbs up! a very descriptive and well worded vision and story line. this book is not like most vampire books and in a interesting thought prevoking, intamate and unfolding way! a dark and sexy romance that tears at more and more to come. looking forward to the next!

An interesting read, and the cost of the .PDF easily covered by my new favorite quote, taken directly from the short story: "If small talk is the loose change of conversation, then small talk while waiting in line is the ignored penny on the sidewalk of small talk." Well-written and almost overly descriptive, the story offers a very different perspective on what in other books might be a brief conversation. It's nice to read a story that provokes thought even after the book (albeit a small one, in this case) is closed. Good stuff, Mr. Simon. I look forward to future installments in your Dark Veritas series. Four stars, only because I wish it were longer.
