This story has been inspired by the author's sojourn and travels in the Middle East, a region steeped in ancient culture, contradiction and conflict and describes an episode in a female soldier's life struggling with motherhood and house-holding after a mission gone wrong.

About the Author:

André Klein was born in Germany, has grown up and lived in many different locations including Thailand, Sweden and Israel. He has performed at various poetry slam events, curated an experimental television program and runs an independent publishing and online education website through which he releases both fiction and non-fiction materials.
