Short description

This is the final sequel to the Legend series and picks up where Free Falling-Legend stopped. Z is in a mess, Dante is following her into the same mess and there is war and love on the horizon!

Extended description

Radzia MacDaun’s mission of vengeance has turned into a rescue operation… but will she need to be rescued, too?

When Gaiscioch killed her father, Radzia—Z to her friends—vowed to take the Seelie traitor down as painfully as possible. Plans for revenge were put on hold, however, when Gaiscioch abducted her housekeeper and friend, and Z had no choice but to dive into the pit to save her.

Now, in the heart-stopping conclusion to the Legend series, the half-human/half-Daoine Fae finds herself in the Dark Realm, where she’ll have to fight Gaiscioch on his own turf. Danté, Prince of the Tuatha Dé and Z’s lover, is not about to let her face this danger alone, however, and the two of them are thrust on a ride that takes them to the edge of life as we know it…

Will they survive?

Will the Fae Realm survive?

Damn, will any of us survive?

Claudy Conn has written one of the most AMAZING series I have had the pleasure to read. From the beginning of the Legend Series and her Through Time Series (an off shoot from Legend) it is one fast paced, couldn't put them down, and had to have them all ride! Thank you!

I was hoping the Dark King would make an appearance but a fitting end.

Catch & Hold by Claudy Conn
Legend Series Book 5
This book picks up where Free Falling (book 4) left off. Radzia, known as Z, has fallen into some deep trouble and Dante has followed after to try and help. Z has to become more Daoine than human if she is going to be able to win the coming battles. Problem is that this girl just can’t lose her knee jerk reactions. She just don’t stop and think things out.

Dante, Royal Prince of Lugh, doesn’t seem so princely these days as he has to chase after his Z, his enfant. Trying to keep her safe is a full time job. Not to mention the other handsome hunks he has to keep at bay so they stay away from his woman. Love has definitely changed this seventy thousand year old warrior. But warrior he is and must be as the war is now here.

Legend series is best read from the start, Spellbound. Each book has a continuing story of Gaiscioch, the Dark Realm and the Unseelies who are part of a coming war against the unsuspecting humans. From book one we start meeting our couples who will unite to fight in this war as well. Catch & Hold was full of adventure and surprises. It seems our heroes and heroines always need their swords nearby as trouble is never far away. The author even gives life and personality to a Seelie Hallow named Rolo.

This is my first book for this author and I wasn't dissappointed. There is plenty of action and lust for everyone. I am partial to this book because I love the Fae realm and the Fae princes, what is not to love? Well maybe death by sex, ha ha. If you liked the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning you will not want to miss this series. ****4stars

eXtreme Seduction

Catch and Hold completes the Legend series in style, with Claudy Conn pulling out all the stops to bring the series to a stimulating and climactic finale. Which is after all . . . as it should be, since she left readers with a cliff hanger ending in Free Falling—Legend (no title irony there. lol)
The beginning of Catch and Hold finds Radzia MacDaun smack-landing in the dark realms of the unseelie fae and on the run across the enemy’s home turf, without her beloved Danté. Conn ups the ante further by bringing the powers of four dark unseelie royals into the mix of villains bent on mayhem and destruction. From beginning to end the action never stops as Conn draws her cast of Legend characters together to save the Tuatha Dé and earth as we know it. I applaud the strong female characters, the wide emotional range, and character building growth that fills the story; but between the two of us, I know what it is you really want to know about this book. The answer is . . . YES. In spite of all the drama, intrigue, excitement, and the heat of battle –which make this a great series ender, Claudy still creates room for the finer points of love; the sizzling passions that make reading a Conn romance a delectably private affair.
The end, no other two words strike as deep or contain as much horror for the avid reader, especially when they signal the completion of a truly exciting and engaging series. Readers will appreciate knowing that, even as she brings Legend to its completion, Conn opens the doors wide for a range of new paranormal plots and romances. One thing is certain, we haven’t seen the last of Claudy Conn or her talent for writing eXtreme seduction.

I am soooo sad that I have finished this fae series! I love it so and wish there were even more books!! This book continued the story of Z as well as completing the main story arc started in the first book. What I loved the most about this book is that it connects all of the characters from the first books in this series together. I love seeing strong women come together for a common purpose (do not worry, their men were there too ;)). I am not sure I can say enough about this series. the lore was original, yet familiar enough to not make you uncomfortable with the new components. She pulled characters from different times and places and put them together for a common goal, making very interesting connections/relationships. I just could not put these books down. These books fall into the category of "I know I have them on ebook, but I am going to buy them in book form too because I just can not stop my self". I can not wait to to check out this author's other series!
