Carolyn asked me to produce the cover for Sherlock Dog and also sent me the story. As a cover designer, many people send me their work so I know what the book is about. 99% of them make you want to stop after the first page, or even first paragraph. Carolyn's book belongs to the 1%. It isn't Shakespeare - and doesn't try to be. What it tries to be is an amusing tale of friendship between a dog and its owner - and in that it succeeds with flying colours. While the book is free, I would encourage you to give something to the charity that Carolyn supports - there's a link in the book to a facebook page.
