Extended description

Tools that relocate themselves. Shadows glimpsed from the corner of one's eye. The feeling of being watched when no one's there.

It's all in a day's work for the crew renovating Bayview Manor, a dilapidated mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the Olympic Peninsula. Rachael Payne is delighted to be involved in renovating the Manor, and it doesn't hurt that the new owner, Geoffrey Windsor, is exciting in his own right. It doesn't bother her that the mansion's dark history is shrouded in rumor and legend, because she doesn't believe in ghosts.

Geoffrey doesn't share her enthusiasm for his house. From its mysterious origins to the strange current events, he's certain something walks in Bayview Manor, unseen by the human eye. And he wonders if Rachael's faith in God protects her from the forces within the mansion…or blinds her to them.

the second book in the devil's house series is different as day and night from Wyckham House. although the concept is changed, beloved characters reappear, and we follow their struggles and achievements with fascination. this book is another must read in the paranormal genre. I only hope the authors will continue the series.

A very well written tale of horror. A little more religious than I was expecting, but not enough to put me off. I felt for the characters, the story was great, and all in all I found it thoroughly enjoyable. I will gladly read more from this author.

Condemned is the fifth book that I have read by Sharon Gerlach and it has EVERYTHING!! There's romance, drama..Lots of drama!! Horror, there were times I was holding my breath while reading without even being aware of it because I was so into the intensity of the book! I was drawn into the book by the details, the people were very real to me...it was like I could feel what they felt because Sharon described everything so well. She takes things that are out of the ordinary and makes you realize that it could very well be truth! I am an avid reader and have read hundreds and hundreds of books, but WYCKHAM house and Condemned are by far the best, the plot, the characters, it kept me glued to the pages every free moment that I had! Keep them coming Sharon!
