This book is a platform for lecturing and bashing; unfair labor practices, unfair tipping, destroying the environment, practices of rank, unfairness of social classes, animal rights and also bashing Americans, obesity, cruise ships, and stupidity/human nature. And I only made it to page 58. This leaves little room for plot and story. I don't disagree with most of what she says but don't like it shoveled down my throat and don't want to read page after page ad nauseam.

I really enjoyed this story. What a great author. Being a New Zealander I was most impressed with the research she had done on the port calls in NZ. A must read
