Cal Hodges, an investigator for a law firm, is asked to confirm the death of a missing heir, so his relatives can inherit. Invited to a weekend at their estate, he and his fiancé, lawyer, Merle Grayson, don’t find evidence of the heir’s death. Instead, it appears the lost heir has returned with the intention of killing all who plotted his death.
