on Feb. 03, 2012 :
Highly hot "straight" TV star is seduced into a D/s relationship with the leader of a rock band. Yes our rocker is dominating but not a Dom with a big D. The rakish yet subtle and good natured attitude of the rocker is half the fun and also more than half of how the gay singer lures in the "straight" actor into his gay Dom/sub love affair. After reading Wild Horses for the second time I noted our protagonist is not all about control, rather he obviously enjoys giving pleasure and feeling love for others. On re-reading I saw his bad boy image is largely self-proclaimed rather than actual. He says he is bad but his actions show otherwise. He is affectionate, caring, and capable of great tenderness. He is vulnerable too. His charm is fascinating which makes for intensely satisfying reading. Some pleasurable rope tricks and spanking but nothing heavy. Lot's of super hot romantic but stimulating lovemaking. D. River ( Chris O'Guinn) is a top talent! He is immensely talented with writing that flows in a natural and highly entertaining style full of clarity, potency and vigor not to mention that engaging light touch of humor. Warning to romantic purists with strong feelings about monogamy: the book contains mostly M/M romance but also includes M/M/M love making.
