About Odette C. Bell

I live in Australia with two giant, fluffy cats. I try to write whenever I can, reasoning that eating and sleeping are luxuries that can be ignored.

The more books I read by Odette C. Bell the harder it is to write a review. So far, all her books that I have read are excellent and this one is no exception. As is typical, it is the 1st person narrative of the main protagonist. In this case the book charts her path from a fast-food waitress to being the reluctant heroine, who has to save the galaxy.

The only niggle I have is that the book finishes in the middle. Still the author has to eat and as this book is free, one can't really complain.

Great book - couldn't stop reading it, so much action going on. Went from being really funny (loved the yoda-like Od, and Mini's initial attempts at being a warrior, with a frying pan!), to darker and more serious, evolving along with Mini's own journey to discover her origins, along with the fate of the universe.

Once again I'm behind on my reviews so a bunch of these will look a lot alike! Odette Bell is brilliant and has become a favorite author. I hope she doesn't move out of my price range because of her amazing talent!

Betwixt is a great story and you won't see the end coming - at least I didn't! Makes the insecure person inside you sit up and believe! That's a gift!!
