Extended description

In the future, vampires have come out of the shadows to live alongside humans, but in order for this arrangement to work, everyone must abide by strict laws enforced by The Board , a small group of the world's strongest vampires. Sanaa, a young human who dreams of becoming a vampire, works as a secretary for The Board. In a meeting with her favorite boss, Ambrose (who will feature largely in the second Vampire Queen novel, When the Moon Tires of the Night, out in late 2013), reveals what happens when a vampire breaks the laws laid out long ago by the reclusive Vampire Queen.
