After the mysterious death of his daughter, teacher David Lankstrom uses meditation to battle depression. His normally peaceful sessions are shattered when he begins to inadvertently slip into another dimension. In that unfamiliar place he finds himself witness to the deeds of a demonic child killer. When he recognizes one of the victims as a former student and has an injury carry over into his waking state, he comes to the horrifying conclusion that the murderer is real. With the help of an old friend and a few new ones, he attempts to hunt down and stop the killer.Sara Walker is a shy, soft spoken teenager who is haunted by terrible dreams. After a particularly brutal nightmare she finds herself in a place she can only compare to Hell. When she encounters a small boy, she is forced to shed her meek disposition to protect the boy from the demons that roam the vast nightmarish realm.
