I was really surprised that I liked this book. Most guys aren't into vampire books but Birth was not predictable. I couldn't figure out what would happen next. I felt like I was watching a movie when I was reading it. The book was long but when I got to the end I wanted more. I will buy the next one because I want to see what happens to these characters.

I don't read many books for entertainment because I'm in college and there are loads of books I have to read for class. I started reading Birth and I couldn't put in down. I never read a vampire book but these characters start off as real people and they don't become vampires until the middle of the book. It starts in the 1860's and moves up into the 1970's. I love the character William. I can't wait to see what trouble he gets into when the next book comes out in the summer.
