I started yoga 30 years ago and have been teaching for over 20 years.
My first teachers were Iyengar trained, then I was introduced to the beautiful, simple and powerful discoveries of Vanda Scaravelli (through John Stirk, with whom I am still studying).
I’m a member of the Association of Independent Yoga Practitioners (AIYP).
Whilst my own style of yoga keeps developing, some themes remain constant, like listening to and working with the body and paying total attention to what is actually happening while using the breath and gravity.
I write a regular column for Yoga & Health magazine based on visualisations to help the practice of yoga and the visualisations are also in Spectrum, the magazine of the British Wheel of Yoga.
