...

Yes, she's a goddess. And, oh yes, he is most certainly a god. You can tell from the fact he marches around in glinting armour, picking fights with titans and picking up divine broads. But she didn't sign up for this. Sea monsters, kidnappings, evil plots, and the end of the world? Are you kidding? She spends most nights reading the weather report and icing cupcakes.

It is all his fault.

Really great book, with loads of humour, and lots of layers, which will require repeated readings in order to fully appreciate the messages contained within the story - always a good thing for a book to do! Enjoyed the interaction between the main characters immensely, and I would 'imagine' that the author had a wonderful time writing this.

This was a wonderful book. It had so much humor in it, and the imagination Bell had in conceiving this book, & developing the characters brought this book to life. I enjoyed how the all the various mythical 3 Pantheons were involved. It made for interesting character development.

Zeus/ Thor/ Jupiter were hilarious. I loved watching his character evolve, and how he constantly managed to get under Detail’s skin. I was chucking out loud at some of their interactions. They were hilarious! The other Gods were so interesting as well. The last quarter of the book was truly amazing. It took amazing imagination from Bell to conceive this plotline and then have the talent to have Details along with the other Gods evolve. I could actually see this being made into a movie. Parts of it reminded me of all of the movies out now that involve pieces of mythology in them, and this would fit right in.

I walked away from this book in amazement. For those of you who know me, it takes an excellent author for me to continually keep thinking about a book since I read so many of them each week. I had the opportunity to read the original copy of this several months ago, and I still think about the ending, because it is something that you can walk away holding a piece of inspiration in your hand.

Yes, I realize I’m getting a little deep on this book, but Bell has several subplots that you can pick up on that are truly inspirational. However, she doesn’t let that detract from the story line at all. The story flows smoothly and seamlessly. Bell never once hesitates in the narrative of this story.

If you like any type of mythology, or are just looking for a good book to entertain you this is it. This book has it all-laughter, love, mystery, wonderful characters who you feel like you know, and finally, the power of taking destiny into your own hands.

This is truly a unique book, and I guarantee you will not go wrong by taking the time to read it.

This book was awesome! Thor/Zeus/Jupiter was quite the character and I have to admit through most of the story I didn't want them to get together because he was such a jerk. But his character grew quite a bit and eventually I was quite glad they were the main couple. I loved that there was a god for everything and it was fascinating to see how multiple religions in past ages and the current society shaped these gods and directed their personalities. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
