What an excellent read. You feel the pain of Thomas Max, you don't want him to do anything that will bring more heartache to his family, and yet you fully understand and accept his need for revenge.

Highly recommend this superb short.

Short stories are hard to write… to convey a dynamic story, well developed characters, and a plot in a matter of 5000 words is a difficult feat. B Y Rogers has done an amazing job! He easily transports you into the life of Thomas Max and the struggle he has had to face of his wife’s rape and aftermath. The subject matter is serious and very well written. The characters were extremely well developed, and there feeling portrayed in a believable and realistic manner. It’s a heartbreaking and haunting story, written so well, to the point of being uncomfortable at the deep feelings it evokes.
