I'm not sure what I expected when I started to read this, but... Surprise! I couldn't put it down. I found myself drawn into the story and turning page after page to find out what would happen. The scenario was especially scary, as the beginning could be happening right now in our own world.
Although this story was a bit dark, this is a book that goes into my reread file. I loved the emotional impact it had on me and how it made me look at my world as it is now.
I wish a few of the other characters and their personalities could have been more in depth, but I'm glad I took a chance on choosing this to read and look forward to other books by this author.
