I was born in 1974, in Meridian, Mississippi. I grew up in the Bailey, Shucktown, and Pine Springs Communities of Kemper and Lauderdale Counties.
My parents are Klein and Kathy Caldwell. I have one brother, Klein III who is four years younger than me.
I attended West Lauderdale School from 1st through 12th Grade. I attended Meridian Community College from 1993-1995 as a University Transfer student. In Fall 1995 I changed majors from Secondary Education to Business and Office, and graduated in 1997.
For 15 years or more I attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Kemper County. After I married, at the age of 20, to Ed Joyner, we went to various churches in Neshoba and Newton Counties, as we now live in that area.
For a year and a half I worked in the Finance Industry, until God blessed me, and showed me a job at the Lauderdale County Department of Archives and History. I have been here since October 26, 1998 as the Desktop Publisher. I help other departments with print jobs, and designing forms and business cards and such. In the Archives, I design the publications that we sell, and designed and maintain our website; as well as help run the research library, and records center when needed. On occasion I am given the opportunity to research and write books for the Publications section of our department.
I enjoy reading, mainly crime stories, and horror stories. As you already know I enjoy writing, as this is what this site is for, is to promote my writing. I also love video games, online, and on Nintendo Platforms (hey I'm from the age of the Atari... what do you expect... for me to out grow them?). I also dabble in pastel painting, photography, and cross stitching. I love riding with my husband on our motorcycle, and horses, and spending time with my best friends, whether that is in person or online in game rooms, or chats.
Fair warning, to my short story readers, my work is slightly like Amazing Stories, Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, etc. in that my stories may leave you wondering what the hell just happened. :)
Other than listing all of our animals, that pretty much sums me up!
