A nice short story, well written and thought provoking. An easy read, but it left me slightly confused. It seems to be about a man becoming aware of nature, and the world around him, told in an abstract way. Personally, I would have preferred more information in the story as to what it was about. I suppose I didn't really 'get it' maybe.
This story is a great showcase for Anne Brooke's writing talent. I like her writing style; lovely fluid prose. I'll definitely be looking out for more of her work.

Enchanting, this story has such a thick atmosphere that I could practically smell the leaves!
